TO: ALL EMPLOYEES
RE TIME CARDS

When filling out your time card. it should be neat and legible. The information on the time card should be your time and the duty for that day. Should you have to correct your time or duty on any day, either use white-out (if any is available) or get another blank time card and rewrite it. Initial any corrections as these time cards are our only record keeping of your days and time at work.
If you have more than one duty;  i.e.. mixer, rock plant, snow removal or end dump, use a separate card for each duty.

Sign and date the bottom of the time card before turning it in.

RE: FILLING OUT TRUCK INSPECTION REPORTS

All drivers, when filling out the truck inspection reports, please write the number of the vehicle, the mileage (beginning and ending) the full date (11-14-05) and sign your name.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Please note the example of a bi-weekly time card and how the company pays overtime. A work week starts every Monday and goes through and includes Sunday. We pay overtime after each 8 hour day and after a 40 hour work week. Payday is every other Friday.

‘When filling out your timecards, if you are not sure about your time for the days you are working, please call the office (648-7455) and anyone in the office can help you.

As a matter of policy and in accordance with Paragraph 395.8 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations all time cards should be completed in the following manner:

  • The date filled in on all days.
  • “In” time and “Out" time for both regular time and overtime.
  • Lunch periods indicated with “in" and “out" times unless On Duty Meal: whereby “ODM" is filled in the “in" and “out" space.
  • Brief description of work performed.
  • Everyday must be accounted for: if not working on a particular day, write “OFF"
  • If you have two timecards: for example. one for MRM and one for M&S. indicate where you are working (see example brelow)
  • TIME CARDS "MUST" BE SIGNED AND DATED

Employees who drive concrete delivery trucks and aggregate delivery trucks will have their payroll checks processed through a division of our Company called “Mammoth Ready Mix”.

“Marzano & Sons Sand and Gravel Pit” and “Mammoth Ready Mix" are divisions of our Company that supply products to customers. The work hours that accrue on an employee’s time card related to the delivery of these products will be paid through our ‘Mammoth Ready Mix” division

If you perform work for our Company, both as a driver of concrete or aggregate products, and during the same pay-period work for the Company in any other capacity, you will need to use multiple time cards so that your driving/delivery time is recorded on a separate time card from the one you use to record your work hours for other company tasks.

If you have any questions or are unclear as to which time card your hours should be recorded on, please contact Rob Morgan, President and CEO of our Company
